Binnendyk Orchards is currently hiring Orchard Workers through Job Bank Canada. We are looking for hard-working, dependable, and physically fit individuals who enjoy working outdoors and can thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
This is a seasonal, full-time, on-site position based in Tillsonburg, Ontario, with a competitive wage of $17.23/hour for 60 hours per week. No prior experience is necessary—we will train the right candidates. Join us for the 2025 harvest season and help us bring high-quality produce to Canadian tables!

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Orchard Worker, you will be essential to the success of our harvest season. Your responsibilities will include:
- Harvesting orchard crops such as apples
- Picking, packing, and grading fruits and vegetables
- Planting, cultivating, irrigating, and weeding crops
- Training trees and shearing plants for better fruit production
- Cleaning crops, removing field debris (wood, stones), and maintaining work areas
- Working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Using tools to hoe, tie, shape, and secure trees and plants
Required Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this position, candidates should have:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Secondary school education (preferred but not required)
- A willingness to be trained and follow instructions
Work Conditions and Environment
This is on-site, hands-on agricultural work involving:
- Fast-paced environment
- Repetitive tasks and tight deadlines
- Bending, kneeling, walking, and standing for long hours
- Exposure to dust, dirt, wet or cold weather, and noisy environments
