Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Construction Worker at Sawled Construction Inc, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Loading and transporting construction materials
- Erecting/dismantling scaffolding, forms, ramps, and barricades
- Mixing and pouring materials like concrete and asphalt
- Assisting in framing, roofing, and site preparation
- Demolishing structures and removing debris
- Operating and maintaining hand tools and equipment
- Directing traffic near construction zones
- Performing routine site maintenance
Required Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of construction experience
- Familiarity with tools such as drills, nail guns, air guns, sledgehammers
- Experience in residential, industrial, or commercial construction
- Ability to handle physical tasks and work in outdoor environments
- A clear criminal record check (required)
